The short version. Your Instagram data — follower lists, posts, story viewers — is read and stored only on your iPhone. It never reaches our servers. We never see or store your Instagram password. Our servers receive an anonymous device id, basic app information and your subscription status. We don't sell data and we don't run ads.

Who runs this app

The app is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

How you sign in

The app opens Instagram's own login page inside an in-app browser. You type your credentials directly into Instagram's page — the app cannot read them and never stores them. The resulting session cookies stay in your device's cookie storage and are never uploaded. Tapping Disconnect removes them.

What stays on your device

Everything the app analyses is computed and kept locally:

Follower and following lists, usernames and profile pictures
Post and story metrics, people who liked or commented
Story viewer records (kept up to 30 days)
Your analysis history — dates and counts used for charts and weekly summaries

You can export a copy or delete all of it from inside the app. Deleting the app removes it from your device as well.

What we receive

Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted, and every request is signed with a device-specific key.

Who else is involved

Apple handles all payments and subscription renewals. We contact Apple only to verify a receipt; we never see your card details.
Expo delivers push notifications and receives only your push token.
No advertising networks, no analytics brokers, no data sales.
We may disclose the limited information listed above if a law or a valid legal request requires it.

How long we keep it

Usage events: up to 12 months, then deleted or aggregated.
Subscription records: as long as required for accounting and support.
Support messages: up to 24 months after your request is closed.
Anything on your device: until you delete it.

Your choices

Settings → Privacy → Export data gives you a copy of what the app stores.
Settings → Privacy → Delete analysis history erases it.
Settings → Accounts → Disconnect signs the account out and clears its session.
Notifications can be turned off at any time in iOS Settings.
To ask what we hold about your device id, or to have it deleted, email [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we show a notice in the app. The current version is always on this page, with the date at the top.
